Lebanon Mason Monroe Railroad

LM&M's website says "Experience a nostalgic train ride on the Lebanon Mason Monroe (LM&M) Railroad through Warren County in Southwestern, Ohio. The LM&M invites you to reminisce and capture moments with family." LM&M offers several themed train rides year round, but when we heard Thomas the Tank Engine was coming, we bought tickets online for our family of four, as well as Nana & Papa, and truly enjoyed the magic when beloved characters come to life. Krohn Conservatory

A friend of mine once said, "If you are looking for a little warmth in winter, go to the Krohn Conservatory." We have enjoyed many winter and summer days here, walking through this gorgeous huge glass green-house filled with all kinds of plants from Florida palm trees to bonzi and orchids. It's the perfect place to leave your winter jacket at the door and take in a breathe of fresh air mixed with the perfumes of nature. Read More »

Blue Ash Nature Park

Shady... with five parks in one... perfect for any summer day. There are swings and clean bathrooms, a huge covered picnic table area, and even trails. Another great park in Cincinnati that offers lots to do for the short attention span kids like mine. Read More »

Frisch’s Big Boy

Frisch's Big Boy is literally the one and only all American 100% Family restaurant in our nation. I may be a little bias, but I have never come across a more kid-friendly restaurant any where. The food is all American comfort food, they have a quick and delicious buffet, a cup of crayons on every table with placemats to color for each child, and strawberry pie that tastes like grandma just made it. EnterTrainment Junction

EnterTrainment Junction is like an amusement park for train lovers young and old. The entrance ticket price feels a little like an amusement park too, but this is a must-see attraction/museum for anyone living in or visiting Cincinnati. From our first step in past the ticket agent, we were in awe at the amazing minature world they had created for us to walk through and explore as we answered their printed scavenger hunt questions. Coney Island

Coney Island's website says, "Coney Island is unique as it not only was the name of the New York resort that was the center of the amusement park universe in the early part of the century, but also the name of the famed amusement park in Cincinnati, OH, which is regarded by many as one of the best operated amusement parks in history." Yes, it's a big, fun, and unforgettable amusement park where you can enjoy a day in their Sunlite pool (the world’s largest recirculating swimming pool), ride over 20 classic family and kiddie rides, or enjoy live music.
