Buca di Beppo Restaurant

Great italian food, great pizza, yummy large salads, and wonderful atmosphere with a fun energy. Buca is the kind of restaurant that you don't have to "hush" the kids or constantly tell them "not to touch". It is elegant AND truly family-friendly. Read More »

Silver Spring House Restaurant

Silver Spring House Restaurant

Ok... if you haven't been here before, pull out your pen and paper or blackberry or GPS to note the address to The Chicken Joint. There is no other restaurant that serves a better rotisserie style chicken anywhere. Every person who has ever gone here will say the same. Hands down... the BEST chicken! Read More »

Max & Erma’s Restaurant

Max & Erma’s Restaurant

Max & Erma's is "a fun, unique place to take friends and family", but what makes it different from all the other franchise American burger restaurants is... their "All-You-Can-Eat Sundae Bar - An antique bathtub filled with toppings galore." My kids LOVE to pile high the m-n-m's, crumbled oreo cookies, sprinkles, carmel, fudge, blue whip cream, and other yummy treats that make it virtually impossible to find their scoop of vanilla ice-cream hidden below. The LEGO Store in Kenwood Towne Centre

The LEGO Store in Kenwood Towne Centre

There is a NEW Lego store in the Kenwood Towne Centre! It's upstairs near Macy's & Pottery Barn Kids. Not only are they offering the latest and greatest Lego build sets, they have a "Build your own minifigures" station set up right there for your kids to build and purchase 3 little lego people to take home. It's not a very big store, but they do have a small box of legos set out that the kids can play with while visiting the store. And their back wall or "Pick A Brick" wall is very cool! Read More »

McDonald Commons Park

McDonald Commons Park

McDonald Commons Park has the best and longest monkey bars! There are lots of things to climb and crawl through in both playgrounds that are next to each other by the covered picnic tables, and there is lots and lots of sun. All the trees are actually behind the softball fields and that is where you find the beautiful trails, creek, and wooden bridge. This is a wonderful Madeira neighborhood park. Read More »

Eden Park

Eden Park

Eden Park is one of the most beautiful "vistas" or views of Cincinnati. It is magestic to sit on the wall and look down at the Ohio River, the Big Mac bridge, Newport, and Kentucky. It feels like a view taken from some European painting. Read More »

Ault Park

When someone says, "Let's meet up at Ault Park" they are usually talking about the gorgeous, shaded, big playground to the right at the top of the hill surrounded by a forest of trees, but Ault Park actually offers much more than just a beautiful playground. There is the observatory which over-looks all of Cincinnati, the picturques pavillion, and trails too. Read More »

Cincinnati Zoo and Botanical Garden

The Cincinnati Zoo and Botanical Garden is literally one of the top zoos in the nation. To this day, I do not think that my kids have seen the entire zoo. It is huge, beautiful, and always alive with interactive shows, feeding stations, and new exhibits. Read More »

Stephan Field

Stephan Field is a wonderful, shady, wooden play land with lots of swings, a variety of slides including the most fun tiny rolling pipe slide, tire swing, and hanging hand rings. I have seen kids of all ages here with big smiles and hours full of imagination. Read More »
