Sharon Woods

Sharon Woods is a huge Hamilton County park which could not possibly be enjoyed and admired in just one day. For outdoor fun, there is the harbor with the extensive modern playground, mini-water world with fountain sprays, rental paddle boats and canoes, and a covered pavillion for picnicing. For indoor fun, there is the "Treehouse" or Adventure Station in the Sharon Center, as well as educational nature displays and the tunnel fish tank. Blue Ash Nature Park

Shady... with five parks in one... perfect for any summer day. There are swings and clean bathrooms, a huge covered picnic table area, and even trails. Another great park in Cincinnati that offers lots to do for the short attention span kids like mine. Read More »

Cincinnati Nature Center

The Cincinnati Nature Center is like going back in time to 1898. There are acres of forests with natural mulched trails weaved around the historic Krippendorf home, another log cabin with period artifacts, tadpole & lili-pad frog ponds, daffodiles, and a beautiful indoor nature center. It is located east of Cincinnati, and the drive out there feels like a time capsal from big city to all natural times preserving the way it was... once upon a time. Read More »
