Info: FREE Public Park in the city of Montgomery. 15.3 acres. 2 baseball fields, soccer field, 2 tennis courts, playground equipment, batting cage, basketball court, sledding hill, picnic shelter, Terwilliger Lodge, walking trail.

Like a hide-away that not many people have discovered yet, this park is more than just a playground with covered picnic tables, it is also a natural  playground with a small and ”kid-friendly” creek for skipping stones. If the sun is out, and you’re looking for a spot to sit it in the shade… this is the peaceful park to go to.

Typical Day: When we turn into Dulle park, I drive all the way back to the playground area. The kids usually jump out of the car and head right down to the creek. Even if I’m trailing behind with lunch bags, purse, and camera, I’m never stressed that they are getting “too” close to the water without me near-by because the creek is literally ankle deep but deep enough to enjoy skipping stones (or merely throwing rocks into the water). There is a great bench perfectly placed in front of the main creek entrance where I can take pictures or even have lunch while the kids find endless enjoyment in nature. We’ve even come to the this park in winter-time when the creek froze over to “slide” stones and try to break the ice.

Yes, they do have other fun activities including a playground, basketball court, picnic shelter, walking trail, and more, but we find ourselves at the creek more than anywhere else.

Cincy Kids: APPROVE!
