Info: FREE Public Park of Cincinnati. Providing picnic facilities, nature trails, children’s play areas, pavilion and lookout point, beautiful gardens. Popular for weddings and private parties. 224 acres. Ault Park also is one of the best parks in the city in which to observe the ancient geology of Cincinnati. Named in honor of Ida May Ault and her husband Levi Addison Ault, who was prominent in the development of Cincinnati parks.
When someone says, “Let’s meet up at Ault Park” they are usually talking about the gorgeous, shaded, big playground to the right at the top of the hill surrounded by a forest of trees, but Ault Park actually offers much more than just a beautiful playground. There is the observatory which over-looks all of Cincinnati, the picturques pavillion, and trails too. We’ve even seen deer on the hill sides driving into this massive property. Ault Park could be an entire day of fun or just an hour adventure to the playground with swings, slides, a fire pole, and… clean seasonal bathrooms – always a PLUS. If you have not been to this park, it is a must!
