Indoor Play & Learning

Recreations Outlet

Recreations Outlet

What a brilliant idea to use their showroom as an indoor playcenter with equipment like no other facility. My kids literally bounce from one thing to the next. They love the trampolines, the huge slides, the rock walls, the plastic motorcycles, the bongie chord spinning and bounce chair, and two person boat swing. Read More »

Chuck E Cheeses

Chuck E Cheeses

Who doesn't know Chuck E. Cheeses? They are nation wide but this one in Cincinnati feels like a newer building that is not too big where the kids seem to get lost, it is clean and bright, and pure fun for the kids. Read More »

Joseph-Beth Bookstore

Joseph-Beth Bookstore

The Joseph-Beth bookstore is a beautiful, colorful, and happy place to visit for storytime Monday, Wednesday, or Fridays at 10:30AM or to just go on a rainy day and spend time browsing the kids "half" of their store getting lost in the ailes of books or their large selection of education toys, puppets, and one-of-a-kind gifts. Cincinnati Art Museum

Cincinnati Art Museum

"One of the oldest arts institutions in the United States, the Cincinnati Art Museum has a rich collection of more than sixty thousand works of art, spanning six thousand years." AND from the eyes of a parent, the Cincinnati Art Museum is so much more. It is an inspiring and educational playground that has even the smallest of kids appreciating masterpieces of art, fun prizes, and being creative. Read More »

Sharon Woods

Sharon Woods is a huge Hamilton County park which could not possibly be enjoyed and admired in just one day. For outdoor fun, there is the harbor with the extensive modern playground, mini-water world with fountain sprays, rental paddle boats and canoes, and a covered pavillion for picnicing. Run, Jump, -n- Play

Run, Jump, -n- Play is a huge warehouse with different areas of fun. Their amazing 10,000 foot showroom has about 12 different kinds of quality redwood backyard playsets. Brilliant! And they have the Inflatable Amusement Rooms containing 3 inflatables in a 4,000 square-foot area (Pirate Ship, the biggest shark, and Dolphins). And last but not least, they have Glow Bowling and Glow Mini Golf. Yes, dark & florescent. Read More »

Museum of Natural History and Science

The Cincinnati Museum Center at Union Terminal is home to three of the greatest Museums in the world - The Duke Energy Children's Museum, The Cincinnati History Museum, and The Museum of Natural History and Science. It is truly impossible to enjoy all three museums in one day, let alone one to it's fullest, but be sure to see the "Caves" and the giant "Sandbox" at this museum. Read More »

Cincinnati History Museum

The Cincinnati Museum Center at Union Terminal is home to three of the greatest Museums in the world - The Duke Energy Children's Museum, The Cincinnati History Museum, and The Museum of Natural History and Science. There is literally not enough time in one day to visit all three museums, but be sure to go into this museum to see the amazing model train display of Cincinnati back in the 40's, as well as go downstairs to play with the interactive wooden toy boats traveling the "Little Miami River"... oh, and walk through the life-size steam boat. There is nothing boring about this "History" Museum and it is extremely kid-friendly. Read More »

Krohn Conservatory

A friend of mine once said, "If you are looking for a little warmth in winter, go to the Krohn Conservatory." We have enjoyed many winter and summer days here, walking through this gorgeous huge glass green-house filled with all kinds of plants from Florida palm trees to bonzi and orchids. It's the perfect place to leave your winter jacket at the door and take in a breathe of fresh air mixed with the perfumes of nature. Read More »

EnterTrainment Junction

EnterTrainment Junction is like an amusement park for train lovers young and old. The entrance ticket price feels a little like an amusement park too, but this is a must-see attraction/museum for anyone living in or visiting Cincinnati. From our first step in past the ticket agent, we were in awe at the amazing minature world they had created for us to walk through and explore as we answered their printed scavenger hunt questions.
